How to self-care

  1. Ask yourself, “What do I need now?”

    (Assuming it’s not reading some guy’s blog.)

  2. If you can give yourself what you need, do so now.

  3. If not, write down the next thing you can do to move towards fulfilling your need. Do it as soon as possible.

  4. Repeat as needed.

I sketched this out one night and posted it the next day to a muted social media response. I wrote it mostly as a reminder to myself, but I’m leaving this here in case someone else finds it helpful.
